IT support for small businesses, run remotely

Laptops, email, printers, networks, backup, your website and the applications you run on. Looked after on a schedule for a fixed monthly price, so the technology stops being your problem to remember.

What we look after

The whole list, not a category page

If it plugs in, logs in or sends mail, it is on here. Pick the parts you want; most practices take all of it.

Laptops and desktops

  • Operating-system and application patching on a schedule, with the ones that failed chased down
  • Disk encryption turned on and confirmed, not assumed
  • Antivirus and endpoint protection kept current
  • Setup for a new machine, and a clean wipe of an old one

Email and accounts

  • Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace: mailboxes, shared mailboxes, groups, calendars
  • Multi-factor authentication on every account
  • Spam and impersonation filtering, and the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that stop your domain being spoofed
  • Migrations from an old host, including the part where nobody loses mail

Printers and office equipment

  • Printers, scanners and multifunction devices that everyone can actually reach
  • Scan-to-email and scan-to-folder that keeps working after a password change
  • Drivers, queues and the machine that only jams for one person
  • Supplies and service calls coordinated with your vendor

Network and connectivity

  • Firewall, switches and Wi-Fi configured and kept up to date
  • A separate guest network, so visitors are not on your working network
  • Remote access for people working from home, without opening your office to the internet
  • Internet outages: we deal with the provider so you do not have to

Backup and recovery

  • Backups of the files, mailboxes and systems that matter, running daily
  • Restores tested on a schedule, because an untested backup is a hope
  • Ransomware-resistant copies that a compromised account cannot delete
  • A written recovery plan: what comes back first, and how long it takes
  • Copies held outside Florida, so a storm that closes your office does not also take your data

Websites

  • Hosting, domains, DNS and certificates kept renewed and out of your way
  • Platform and plugin updates, with a backup taken first
  • Uptime monitoring, and someone who notices before your clients do
  • Content edits and small changes as part of the retainer

Applications you run on

  • Your practice-management, accounting or line-of-business software: installs, updates, vendor support calls
  • Getting two systems to talk to each other instead of retyping between them
  • Small custom tools and scripts for the task that eats an hour a week
  • Licence tracking, so you stop paying for seats nobody uses

Joining and leaving

  • A new hire with a working laptop, mailbox and access on day one
  • Access removed the day somebody leaves, across every system, not just email
  • Shared files handed over rather than stranded in a personal drive
  • A current list of who has access to what

Phones and mobile devices

  • Work mail on personal phones, with a screen lock and remote wipe required
  • Lost or stolen device handled the same hour
  • Desk phones and softphones, and number changes with your carrier

Passwords and access

  • A password manager for the whole team, with shared vaults instead of a spreadsheet
  • Single sign-on where your software supports it
  • Admin accounts separated from everyday accounts
How it works

Remote support, said plainly

What you can expect from us, and what we expect of ourselves.

One place to ask

Email, phone or a short form. You get a person, not a queue position. Same-business-day response on anything that is not stopping work, and immediate attention when it is.

Work happens before you notice

Monitoring and patching run in the background on a schedule. Most of what we do never becomes a ticket, which is the point.

Written down, not in someone's head

Your inventory, licences, accounts and recovery plan are documented and yours. If we part ways, you leave with the documentation and the accounts in your name.

Remote first, hands when needed

Almost everything is done remotely. When something needs physical hands, we schedule a visit or work with someone local, and we tell you up front which it is.

For professional practices

A law practice is not a small office with billable hours

Solicitors, accountants, clinics and advisers hold information they are professionally obliged to protect. That changes which technical work matters, and it is the part a general provider never mentions.

Client information stays where it belongs

Encrypted laptops, multi-factor authentication on email and file storage, and secure file sharing so client documents stop travelling as email attachments.

Retention that matches your obligation

Files and mail kept for as long as you must keep them, and deleted when you may. Backups that understand a hold rather than quietly overwriting it.

Payment and wire fraud guardrails

The fraud that hits practices is an email asking to change bank details. Impersonation filtering, domain protection, and a written verification step your staff can follow under pressure.

Departures close cleanly

When someone leaves, access ends the same day across every system, and their client work is handed over rather than locked in a personal account.

A record you can show

When a client's questionnaire or your insurer asks what safeguards you have, the answer is a document with dates in it, not a recollection.

Where our work stops

We are not your lawyer, your regulator or your bar association, and nothing here is legal advice. Your professional obligations are yours to interpret. What we do is implement the technical safeguards those obligations call for, document what was done and when, and hand you a record you can show a client, an insurer or a regulator.

If a client audits you

Larger clients increasingly send security questionnaires to their advisers. When that starts happening to you, the same company builds Joopler, which turns the work we already do into evidence and a page you can share instead of answering the questionnaire by hand.

Pricing

Per person, per device, one monthly number

These are the ranges we work within, in line with the Central Florida market. Where you land depends on how many machines, how old they are, and what software you run. You get one fixed monthly price after the assessment, before you commit to anything.

Per person, fully supported

Their laptop, mail, accounts, phone setup and helpdesk, with monitoring, patching and backup included rather than sold as an upgrade. Most small offices land near $145.

$125 to $185 / month

Extra device, no person attached

A shared reception machine, a conference-room PC, a scanning station.

$45 to $85 / month

Server or network storage

Patching, monitoring, backup and restore testing for the box your practice runs on.

$175 to $325 / month each

Website care

Hosting oversight, updates, certificates, uptime monitoring and small content changes.

$95 to $250 / month

Project work

Migrations, a new office, an application build. Quoted as a fixed price before we start whenever the scope allows.

$150 / hour

Getting started

Assessment, inventory, and fixing what we find in the first pass: encryption, multi-factor, backups, licences.

$750 to $2,500 one time

The small print, in plain words

  • Minimum engagement is $600 a month. Looking after a practice properly has a floor that does not shrink with the number of desks.
  • Month to month after the first three months. No multi-year lock-in.
  • Hardware, software licences and third-party services are billed at cost. We do not mark up your Microsoft bill.
  • Fixing something we should have prevented is not a billable incident. That is what the monthly fee is for.
Honest limits

When to hire somebody else

Four cases where this is the wrong service. Knowing them up front saves us both a bad engagement.

You need someone in the building every day

This is remote support with scheduled visits. A practice that wants a person at a desk full time should hire one.

You need 24/7 overnight cover

We cover business hours with urgent out-of-hours response, not a night shift watching screens. If downtime at 3am costs you real money, you need a provider staffed for it.

You are past about 50 people

Beyond that, you want a team with depth on every shift. We will say so and help you pick one.

Your application needs a full-time developer

We support and extend the software you run. A product being built from scratch is a development engagement, not a support retainer.

Getting started

From first call to hands off

Four steps, two to three weeks, no surprises in week six.

1

A short assessment

Under a week. We inventory the machines, accounts, licences, backups and the website, and tell you what is broken, what is risky and what you are overpaying for.

2

A fixed monthly price

One number for the ongoing support, with anything one-time listed separately. No per-incident billing for things we should have prevented.

3

Onboarding

Monitoring and patching in place, encryption and multi-factor turned on, backups running and restore tested, documentation written. Usually one to two weeks.

4

Steady state

Patching and backups run without you. You get a short monthly note: what was done, what is coming, anything you should decide.

Running your own models on your own hardware is a separate service. See Local AI.

Tell us what is breaking

A 30-minute call, an assessment inside a week, and a fixed monthly price before you commit to anything.
